Japanese WW II Army Officers Full Dress Hat with Storage Case

Hat is for rank of 1st Lieutenant. Hat body is made of very fine dark blue black wool with two rows of gold braid around bottom edge for rank, with one on top edge of band with gold five pointed star on top with gold dress cap badge on front with red and white dress plume. The thin black chinstrap is nice with gold side buttons with Gerry blossoms on each, visor has black finish with light age and wear. The inside is lined with black silk type material with owners name in orange colored thread, the sweat band is made of black oil cloth type material. The storage case is in sound condition but the leather handle and strap are broken or missing, body of case is sound, also comes with cardboard tube and cardboard box for plume. Overall cap is in very fine condition with no real problems, case only the leather handle and strap are in poor condition, rest of case is nice.
