WW II Japanese Army Type 98 Summer Tunic

Tunic is made of cotton with light OD green color with five button front with hook in collar. Tunic has four pockets, top two are concealed with pocket flaps with buttons, lower waist pockets are concealed with pocket flaps without buttons. The buttons are made of dark brown plastic the lower button on the front is replaced with metal button, but this was in wartime. Collar tabs are made of red wool with gold stripe through the center with three silver metal stars on each, for Sgt. Major's rank. The inside is marked with Japanese markings. Also has the open armpits Overall very nice looks, does show field type wear little dirty but all looks even, tips of sleeve show some wear. Would look very nice with all of the gear on form or manikin. Exc. $275.00
