WW II Japanese Type 90 Army Helmet

Helmet is brush painted with OD brownish finish, with lighter colored OD brownish finish painted around bottom edge, this is common, have seen a lot painted this way, the star has some of the finish left but dark. The inside is very nice and shows light wear, but does have what looks like blood stains on the web straps with a couple of blood type stains on the leather, otherwise leather is very nice. The web straps look like they have a couple of shrapnel tears in the web, explaining the blood stains. The outside finish is very nice with normal type field wear, would say it is 80% plus. Also the inside has white size marking painted in rear, also the leather liner pads are marked on the backside. The helmet shows only light wartime wear other than what is stated. Exc. + $1250.00
