WWI German M. 1915 Prussian Spiked Helmet for Kurassier Regiments
Helmet body is a subdued polished steel with zinc plated fitting, trim and front plate with removable spike. Missing the chinstrap and cockades. Inside is nice with green and black painted finish with nice black leather liner, marked in top of the helmet with maker “Otto Nachtigall – Berlin and dated 1915, liner has original leather draw string. Helmet is marked on the tail with size 54. Overall very nice, has some light rust spots that should come out, with several dents on the right side, these could be taken out by a good dent and body man.
