WW I German M.1915 Prussian Spiked Helmet for Mounted Jager Troops
Jaeger Zu Pferde). Steel body has the matt-grey color with wartime zinc-plated sheet iron fittings and front plate, with removable spike. Missing the chinstrap and cockades and one of the screw studs from the base of the spike. Inside has light green and black painted finish with very nice black leather liner with maker “Otto Nachtigall Berlin and dated 1915” in the top. Also marked with size on back tail 58, nice large size. Has the original leather draw string but broken. Overall very nice with light age, does have some small rust spots on the edges, should come off, also has small dent on front on left side below eagle, good body and dent man could get this out.
