TROPICAL Kriegsmarine NCO/EM Field Cap
Wartime French made cap, made of two different types of tan cotton material, body is made of a smooth tan material, visor is made of a ribbed tan cotton material and is just a little lighter in color. Eagle is golden yellow on brownish tan and cockade is on light tan, eagle is hand sewn and cockade is machine sewn. Cap has four metal air vents, two on each side. The inside is lined with a light tan silk rayon type material, marked with Paris maker with size 60 markings, very rare large size. Cap looks unused, does show some age, looks like it got rained on and dust settled on the drops, not that distracting, still very nice. This cap came from a Vet find, for other items in the group see SP-041 in the Special Section.
