German World War I M17 Steel Helmet Band

The M16 helmet had leather band. The band still has some trace of the leather pads that were crimped into the steel band, also has some trace of the grey green painted finish, also has surface rust that for the most part would come off. Cannot find any size markings but is 60-1/2 cm or 24 inches in dia. Overall shows age but looks in sound condition, just needs some cleaning. Exc. $75.00
