German World War I M17 Steel Helmet Band

The M16 helmet had leather band. M16/17 helmet had metal bands. Band has some trace of leather were it was crimped into the steel band there is also some of the grey green painted finish reaming, also there is some surface rust. There are no marking I can find but is about 63 cm or 25 inches in dia.. Overall shows age but in sound condition and should clean up some. Exc. $75.00
