Reichsbahn Officials Visor Hat for Pay Grades 17a/12

"Railway", top of hat is made of nice quality dark blue wool with red wool piping around top edge. The band is made of black velvet, this is a early Reichsbahn visor hat that they added the cloth bevo winged wheel insignia with metal cockade, the eagle is brass with gold finish. Chinstrap is dark blue braid with gold flakes. The visor is early type, made like Kriegsmarine and Luftwaffe with black finish with sewn bead around edge. The inside is lined with a black silk rayon material, the plastic sweat shield is missing, the leather sweat band is very nice, early wide type with light brown finish, there are no size markings but would say it is size 56/57. Overall very nice quality with only light wear and age. Very Nice Exc. + $525.00
