German Reichspost Officials Visor Hat

Hat has dark blue does skin wool top with orange wool piping around top edge, the band is made of dark blue velvet and is piped with orange wool piping. Chinstrap is black and made of leather and is in nice condition, visor is the standard fiber type with black finish on front. The silver eagle and postal wreath are nice quality. Inisde top is made of the orange brown oil cloth type material with plastic sweat diamond with maker logo printed in gold, some of this has worn off, the plastic diamond is a little lose on one side. The leather sweat band is made of leather with brown finish and has black velvet around top edge, the band is marked size "57".
