Luftwaffe M35 Double Decal Helmet

Helmet has nice grey blue smooth finish and looks 85 to 90%, the eagle decal looks about 90% and the National Color Decal looks about 80%. The inside, leather liner is a little dark but still soft, dark from hair oil. Liner band is made of aluminum and looks like it is dated 1938, has the original chinstrap with brown finish with aluminum buckle. Strap is dry and has had leather oil but on it, the tip of the strap has broken off but is still there, it is maker marked and dated 1938. Shell is marked "EF 64" and lot number is "3 800". Vets name and address is inside back rim in red pencil or paint, from Birmingham, AL. Helmet came from Estate sale this year. Helmet outside and inside have not been cleaned, leather liner had some leather cream put on it from the guy who picked it up at the sale. Overall it shows light wartime field wear with some age.
