Army Officers M43 Field Cap

Hat is made of a light weight grey green doe skin type wool with two button front, buttons are made of aluminum with pebbled finish. Top has silver aluminum piping around top edge, insignia is machine sew, silver flat wire pattern, the wire is subdued silver grey, also cockade is the same, backing is a grey green. The inside is lined with grey green silk type material, marked with size 57 only. Overall very fine quality with light wartime field wear and age. There are a few minor moth nips on the backside of the visor, outside is very nice. Overall very nice quality and a hard cap to find. Exc. + $1250.00
