1940 Dated German Entrenching Tool

Straight shovel with wood handle, the metal part has black painted finish and some of this has come off and some of the finish was removed to see the markings, marked "FA. SCH.40". The blade shows some age and wear, wood handle shows some wartime wear but nice. The Leather carrier has brown finish with some grey looking finish on the other side, marked but it is worn and cannot make anything out of it, but does look like it is dated 1939, also has "SA" stamped in the leather indicating it was re-issued in Finland just after the war. Overall shows wartime wear with age. Exc. $ 200.0
