U.S. Marnie Corps WW II 3rd Amphibious Corps Private 1st Class Coat & Trousers
Winter Service A-Uniform made of Forest Green wool with dark brown plastic buttons. 3rd Amphibious shoulder patch is machine sewn to left shoulder with forest green chevron sewn to red wool and machine sewn to each sleeve. Has nice enlisted screw back EGA on each lapel with ribbon bar with three plastic coated ribbons, American Campaign, Pacific Campaign with four bronze stars and WW II Victory. Coat is marked in sleeve with contract number and dated Sept. 27, 1943 and marked size 4 M, think this is about a size 38 medium ??. Coat has two cloth loops on back for the leather belt. Coat is very nice with only minor wear and age. Trousers are also made of the Forest Green wool, they are marked size 3 M with contract number, can not make out all the info. Trousers are about size W33 X 32L, trousers show minor age and wear, does have several very small moth nips. Overall very nice set with only minor age and wear. Exc + $90.00 NICE
