WW II Army 30th Infantry Div. Corporal Uniform Set Garrison Cap, Coat, trousers, shirt & necktie, leather garrison belt and trouser with web waist belt. Coat is made of OD wool with gold eagle buttons with 30th Div. shoulder patch on left shoulder with light grey on dark blue cotton chevrons on each sleeve with three gold cloth overseas bars on lower left cuff and Meritorious Unit Commendation patch on lower right cuff, all machine sewn. Has U.S. & Infantry enlisted clutch back collar disk and clutch back sterling marked Combat Infantry Badge with five ribbons, Purple Heart, Army Good Conduct, American Campaign and European-African Campaign with one silver star and WW II Victory ribbon. Quartermaster Tag is marked size 35 R and dated Dec.26, 1941. OD wool shirt has same cloth insignia and all are machine sewn and marked size 14/32, also has quartermaster tag but worn, marked with size and dated 1943. The OD wool trousers are W30-L29 has quartermaster tag marked with size and dated May 23, 1944. Trouser have some minor moth nips, would not show much on display. The brown leather garrison belt is about 35 1/2 inches long. Garrison Cap is made of OD wool with light blue piping and marked size 6 7/8. Overall set is very nice, with light field wear and age, very nice looking set. Exc + $200.00 |
