NAMED WW II 64th Fighter Wing 12th Army Air Force Technician 4th Grade Sergeant Uniform Set
Garrison Cap, Ike Jacket, Shirt, Trousers, Overcoat all made of OD Serge wool, all in very fine condition. Ike Jacket has two top breast pockets with concealed button up front with open lapels. Lapels have clutch back "U.S. & Army Signal Corps" collar disk with German made non-enamel screw backed 64th Fighter Wing "D.I.'s with painted finish. Discharge Insignia is machine sewn above the right breast pocket, left breast pocket has two plastic coded ribbons, Army Good Conduct, European-African-Middle-Eastern Campaign with Bronze Arrow Head, Silver Star with four Bronze Stars, clutch backed bar, also has pin backed "Marksman Badge" with Rifle Bar. Shoulder Patches are 12th Army Air Force on right shoulder with 9th Army Air Force on left, both are hand sewn to sleeve, also has Tech. Sgt. 4th Grade chevrons sewn two each sleeve, they are the woven bevo weave pattern, light silver grey on dark blue, also hand sewn, lower left cuff has six gold machine woven bars for overseas service with one Service Stripe for three year service, OD green woven stripe on dark blue wool. The inside has the owners name in pin with his service number with size 38R in neck, Quarter Master tag is inside one of the inside pockets, marked with maker, spec. number with size 38R and date July 17, 1944. Overall Jacket is very nice. OD wool shirt has the same shoulder patches and these are machine sewn, Sgt. Chevrons are the same as on the Ike Jacket and hand sewn to the sleeve, also has six gold machine woven overseas bar sewn to lower left cuff. Shirt has the owners last four numbers of his service number in pin with size markings "15-1/2 -34. Quarter Master tag is on the lower bottom of shirt, with maker and same size marking and dated June 7, 1943. All items look like they may have been new when he headed home. Trouser are made of OD wool and have the owner service number H-7905 with ink stamp for size Waist 34 Length 35. Quarter Maters tag show some light wear, has maker, spec. numbers Patten date of 1937 and dated Oct. 29, 1941. Also has owners full service number with his initials W.E.H. Garrison Cap is the only item that does not have any of the owners marking, almost like new with Army Air Force piping around the edge, cap has silk type material on the inside with leather sweat band with size tag 7-3/8. Overcoat is also like new with gold eagle buttons but has no insignia, never did. Also has owner service number in pin, Quarter Master Tag is marked with maker, spec. number with size 38L with date March 27, 1942. Overall all items are very nice. High Exc. + SET $395.00
