Service coat is made of issue quality OD wool with four pockets with standup collar with dark bronze army eagle buttons. 82nd patch is made of red and dark blue wool with gold soutache and is hand sewn to shoulder, patch is very nice quality with some light age and wear. Collar as screw back “U.S.” & “Signal” enlisted collar disk, also has two gold service stripes on lower left sleeve. Has Maker Q-master type tag dated July 3, 1918. Garrison cap is also made of OD wool with “U.S.” Disk on front of left side. I.D. Tag “Dog Tag” is made of aluminum and is stamped with owners name and unit, “James Lewis” Pvt. 1st. Cl. Radio Co. 307 F. Sig. Bn. U.S.A. with ser. Number on back “1918903”. Group also come with 82nd Div. History book, WW I Victory Medal with three Clasp, two Veteran of Foreign Wars Medals, and Veteran of Foreign Wars screw back cap insignia, two place ribbon bar and Pennsylvania Marksman Medal, pin broken off this item, but nice quality. The clasp on the Victory Medal are St. Mihiel, Meuse-Argonne & Defensive Sector. 82nd History book was printed in 1919 and is marked with owners name, book has 310 pages, cover is worn form age. Group also comes with small 48 star flag, about 7 inches by 11 inches. Overall very nice named group with some wear and light age, service coat is very nice. Exc. + $550.00 RARE
