WW II 15th AAF Sgt. Service Coat Made of OD wool with gold eagle buttons with 15th Army Air Force Shoulder patch on left shoulder with Tech Sgt. Chevrons on each sleeve, OD on dark blue wool with four gold overseas bars on lower left cuff. Has clutch back U.S. & AAF enlisted collar disk on collar. Has very nice pin back Aerial Gunner Wings, marked sterling and has heavy tarnish to the silver, also has six ribbons, Air Medal with three bronze oak leafs, Purple Heart, Army Good Conduct, American Defense, American Campaign and European-African Campaign with one silver and two bronze stars. Also has the cloth discharge Insignia. Inside is marked with owners number and marked size 38 R Quartermaster tag is dated July 10, 1942. Overall shows some minor age and field wear, still very nice. Does not come with shirt or necktie or leather belt. Exc + $155.00 |
