WW II U.S. Army 34th Infantry Regt. 24th Infantry Div. Tech. Sergeant Service Coat

Coat is made of OD serge wool with open collar with four pockets with gold metal eagle buttons. The lapels have screw back "U.S. & Infantry" collar disk with pinback enamel 34th Infantry Regt. "D.I.'s. The 24th Infantry Div. shoulder patch is standard type and is machine sewn to sleeve. Each sleeve has machine sewn Tech. Sgt. Chevrons, early quality with OD wool chevrons sewn to dark blue wool. Lower left sleeve has five gold woven bars on OD wool for overseas service. Awards are sterling marked clutch back "Combat Infantry Badge" with two plastic coded ribbon bars (1) Silver Star. (2) Bronze Star. (3) Army Good Conduct. (4) American Campaign. (5) Asiatic-Pacific Campaign with four Bronze Stars. (6) Philippine Liberation with Bronze Star, bars are clutch back, also has pinback "Marksman Badge" with three bars, Rifle, Carbine, Machine Gun, badge and two of the bars are marked sterling. Has Army "Presidential Unit Citation" with Oak Leaf, and is pinback. Has cloth Discharge insignia sewn above right breast pocket. Has Quarter Master tag in lower right pocket, worn but marked size 39L and looks like Patten date is 1940 and dated what looks like July 16, 1942. Overall very nice looking with light wear and age.
