WW II U.S. Army 15th Infantry Regt. 3rd Infantry Div. Sergeant "Ike" Jacket

Made of brownish OD wool with two patch pleated breast pockets with concealed button up front. Screw back U.S. & Infantry collar disk with pinback enamel 15th Inf. Regt D.I.'s on each lapel. Each sleeve has Sergeant chevron machine sewn to sleeve, they are machine woven in light silver grey on dark blue. 3rd Div. patch is standard pattern machine woven with OD border and is machine sewn to shoulder. Lower left cuff has four gold overseas bars with one three year service stripe, these are hand sewn. Right cuff has theater made machine woven "Meritorious Unit Commendation" patch, machine woven in yellow into OD cotton material. Awards are 'Combat Infantry Badge" sterling marked and is clutch back, three place ribbon bar with "Europe Africa Middle East' with bronze Arrow Head with two bronze stars with one silver star in center. "American Campaign" Ribbon. "WW II Victor". The ribbons are the plastic coded type and are clutch back. Has pinback ""Presidential UNIT Citation" above right pocket. Has pinback Marksman Badge with Machine Gun Bar, this has been polished at some point, also has over the left shoulder "French Fourragere" Green and red twisted braid The inside is lined with OD cotton material with two inside breast pockets with white and black tag. The Quartermaster tag is inside the left breast pocket on the inside, marked size 36S with Patten date 5/10/44 and dated Dec. 4. 1945. Overall very nice looking with some minor age and wear, both cuffs have some minor both nips but not distraction, nice looking. Shirt & Necktie do not come with Coat Exc. + $180.00
