WW II 8th AAF Sgt. Communications
Specialist "Ike" Jacket
Made of OD wool with 8th Army Air Force Shoulder patch with OD on dark blue sgt chevrons on each sleeve with Communications specialist patch on lower right cuff with three overseas bars on left cuff. Shoulder patch, chevrons and specialist patch are machine sewn. Collar has clutch back U.S & AAF enlisted collar disk. Has four ribbons, WW II Victory, Army Good Conduct, American Campaign and European-African-Middle Eastern Campaign with one silver star and two bronze also with Distinguished Unit Citation with bronze oak leaf. Jacket is marked with owners name and ser # with Quartermaster tag marked size 36-S and dated June 6 1944. Overall jacket shows some age and wear but still very nice. Does not come with shirt or necktie.
