WW II U.S. M-1 Helmet with Net with "Flexible Chinstrap Loops"

Helmet has rough textured OD green finish with some wear to the finish. Helmet has rear edge butt and has flexible chinstrap loops with light OD web straps with blacked brass fittings. Net is dark OD green with draw string, shows some light wear. Liner has been repainted at one time, still has OD green finish, and the finish shows some wear and age. Inside webbing is a light OD, the leather sweat band shows age and some wear from wartime field use, has the leather chinstrap, it also shows some age and wear. Marked in top for liner maker with "S" within oval for Seaman Paper Co. Overall nice helmet, not mint with wartime field wear with some age. Exc. $350.00
