WW I British Helmet, Used by U.S. Troops

Helmet has brownish OD light rough finish, finish is nice with light wear and age, the inside liner is nice but does show it's 100 year old age, but looks sound, has the large rubber "donut" under the liner. The chinstrap is broken but most of it looks to be there. Do not see any numbers that are stamped into the steel. Overall rare helmet, these were used by a lot of U.S. troops due to shortages of U.S. made helmets, there is very little difference. Exc. + $250.00
