U.S. M-43 Pattern Folding Shovel Carrier

Almost the same as the WW II pattern but has snap in place of the “Lift the Snap”. Back belt hook is same as WW II. The carrier is made of dark OD green canvas web and marked with “U.S.” on front but almost worn off and has no maker marks that I can see. Think it is 1950’- 60’s.
