From 4th Infantry Vet. Shovel has the original factory OD green finish and metal is marked "U.S" with maker AMES and dated 1945. OD green canvas cover has U.S. on the front and marked with maker and dated 1945, marking on cover are hard to see, but there. Overall shows heavy field wear, still very nice. Exc $45.00
