Army M16 Foreign Volunteers Double Decal Helmet
WW I German steel helmet with several coats of brush painted grey green paint, helmet pins are the flat small type like found on the WW I helmets. Has silver army decal on left side, decal is field applied and has no lacquered finish over the decal, so silver is still bright. The right side has a red decal that had a black vertical bar in the center, this decal is only about 50% the army decal is worn some so it would be only about 95%. The leather liner looks like it maybe Bulgarian, liner shows wear and age, marked 2 size ?? plus also has owners name on liner. Shell is ET marked put can not make out size. Overall shows field wear and age. Anyone out there have any info on this decal, would like to know. Low Exc + $1000.00 VERY RARE
