Luftwaffe Flak Troops "Der Spiess" Pre 1940 Fliegerbluse with Trousers

Fliegerbluse is very early looks 1935 to 1938 period and is made of very nice issue quality blue grey wool. The collar has red wool collar tabs with four aluminum gulls on each, the tabs are machine sewn to the collar, also has silver aluminum NCO braid around collar edge with the red twisted cord piping. Shoulder boards are sewn in and are made of blue grey wool with red wool piping with silver aluminum NCO braid with three early quality silver aluminum pips on each for Stabsfeldwebel rank, this is a wartime rank. Each cuff has two silver aluminum NCO braid stripes for “Company First Sergeant” this was appointed position. Has standard quality breast eagle, machine woven in light grey on blue grey, pre 1940 NCO/EM fliegerbluses did not have breast eagle, they were added after 1940, also the pre 1940 patterns did not have the lower waist pockets. The inside has two inside breast pockets made of grey cotton material, only the shoulder and arm pits had cotton lining. Marked with maker ink stamp and size markings, no dates. Has loops for ribbon bar and one badge with Iron Cross 2nd Class ribbon sewn to front. Overall shows very little wartime field wear, has some very small moth nips, very few and hard to see. Trousers are made of issue quality wool and the blue grey color is almost a match to the fliegerbluse. Trousers have small watch pocket with two slanted hip pockets without buttons with one hip pocket on rear with pocket flap with button, also has belt loops and two adjustable side straps with buckle, one each side, also has suspender straps and inside buttons for the same, also has button up fly. The inside has grey cotton lining and marked with maker and size markings. The waist is about 33/34 inches and about 25 inches long with about another 6 inches of material turned up into each leg. Overall this is a very fine prewar set that shows very little field wear and very minor age.
