Schutzpolizei Hauptwachtmeister Tunic

Prewar tunic made of bluish green wip cord wool with dark brown collar and cuff, all piped in light green with light green piping down front of tunic. Tunic has two patch pleated breast pockets with two lower patch pockets, tunic has eight button front, all buttons are aluminum with pebbled finish. Collar tabs have silver aluminum Litzen on light green with silver aluminum twisted piping around edges, and are machine sewn to collar. Shoulder boards are the 1936 pattern used until 1941, they have brown and silver braid with two silver rank pips on each with light green underlay, sew in type. Tunic has loops for three badges on the left breast pocket with loops for ribbon bar or medal above pocket. Left sleeve has machine woven in light green police sleeve eagle with town name “Regensburg” on bluish green wool. Inside is lined with grey cotton material, marked with maker with size marking and marked Po-1940, also has slit for edge weapon hanger under left pocket with one breast pocket and two pockets on tail flaps on back.
