Army Infantry Unteroffizier M40/41 TunicMade of issue quality grey green wool with grey green wool collar with four patch pleated pockets with five button front. Tunic has been field tailored, sleeves have been shorten and bottom pockets have been sewn down. Collar has silver alumi NCO braid machine sewn around edge with 2nd pattern collar tabs, grey with three dark green bars without backing and machine sewn to the collar, the shoulder boards are the standard issue quality made of grey green wool with white silk rayon type piping with sliver alumi NCO braid. Breast eagle is the third pattern, bevo weave, light grey eagle on dark green and hand sewn and looks 100% period. Has loops for ribbon bar and three badges. Inside is lined with the light grey ribbed cotton material, marked with size markings and dated 1940 and marked on the first aide pouch with maker, hard to make out but there. Overall very nice looking combat tunic, shows field wear with a few minor field repairs with some minor moth nip, nothing is very noticeable or distracting to me.
