Luftwaffe Obergefreiter of Flight & Paratroops "Fliegerbluse"

Tunic is made of issue quality blue grey wool, with concealed button up front with five plastic/glass buttons with two lower concealed waist pockets with pocket flaps with two metal buttons with pebbled finish. Collar tabs are machine sewn to collar, tabs are made of golden yellow wool with three grey metals gulls on each. Shoulder boards are made of grey blue wool with golden yellow piping made of silk rayon type material, slip on pattern boards. Breast eagle is machine sewn and is machine woven in light grey. This Fliegerbluse looks like it is pre 1940, the inside is lined with a light bluish grey cotton, with two breast pockets with buttons, with first aid pouch at lower edge. The ink size marking are there but due to field wear you cannot make anything out. The left sleeve has rank chevron with two silver "V"s made of silver aluminum braid on blue grey wool, cuff has cloth Specialty badge for "Ordnance Personnel" and is hand sewn to sleeve. There are loops for to badges and loops for small ribbon bar. Overall shows wartime field wear with some light age and has no real problems. Getting Very Hard to Find These DAYS. "Consignment Item".
