L/56 Marked BRONZE Infantry Assault Badge

Bronze finish is very nice, the collector I got this from said he picked it up about 20 years ago and said it was wrapped up in brown tissue paper, somehow he lost it. Solid type badge marked L/56 below the hinge, hinge is made of sheet metal with round narrow pin with wire type catch, all magnetic. Badge almost shows no wear or age, would say it was not issued.
