"F.W. Assmann" SILVER Infantry Assault Badge

Badge is made of stamped zinc sheet metal with silver grey finish, silver plated finish has gone away with time. The detail is very nice, the hinge and catch are soldered to the badge with round narrow pin, all nonmagnetic. Marked on back with raised Assmann "A" on bottom of rifle stock. Overall shows minor wartime wear and age, other than the silver plate going away in time, very nice. Exc. + $210.00 Hard one to find
