Cased WW II Iron Cross 1st Class by Paul Meybauer
Very fine quality cross with nice silver plated edge with nice black magnetic center. Silver border has some tarnish but looks very nice and the black center is very fine with only minor wear. The silver plated finish on the back is tarnished but looks very nice, with very fine quality hinge and catch with wide flat tapered pin, unmarked. Case has black pebbled finish with silver cross on the lid. Inside is lined with a off white material and case is marked with the maker "Paul Meybauer - Berlin". Overall Cross & Case show only minor age and wear.
