German WW I M16 Camouflage Helmet
Brushed painted over the light grey green smooth finish with a dark medium green with rust brown and tanish grey outlined with black lines with tan splotches. Has leather three pad liner with leather band, leather shows age but all there and looks sound, but missing the string. Has German name on back of rim in pin or pencil, plus has collector name lightly scratched on the inside rim and dated 1974. Overall helmet shows only light wartime wear but does show some age from the 96 years. This is a very nice looking helmet in very nice condition. Exc + $1500.00 RARE & NICE
