Austrian M16 Army Transitional Helmet

Helmet has been repainted with dark grey green rough finish, they painted over the national color decal and the army decal, the paint has come off most of the army decal, but decal looks worn. The dark grey green finish is worn but still looks 75%. The inside still has the lighter green smooth finish with M31 liner with aluminum band, the leather is worn but all there, someone has but some type of leather care on it, it is missing the draw string, has no chinstrap, only some small parts of it. Cannot make out any marking on the band, but they are there, looks about size 56, has some stamping in the metal on the inside at top, looks like letter P with some numbers. Overall shows wartime field wear with age, still nice looking combat helmet. Very Good Plus $850.00 $650.00
