Army M38 Transport Officers Field Cap
Made of grey green wip cord type wool with silver alumi piping around top and front fold, with silver bevo flat wire eagle on dark green with bullion wire cockade with light grey blue soutache machine sewn to front, the eagle is machine sewn across the top and folded over and sides are hand sewn. Cap has two metal air vents, one on each side and the inside is lined with a grey ribbed cotton material and marked with size 57 ink stamp, inside is nice but does have some hair oil stains around the edge, normal. Out side is nice with only light field type wear but does have some moth nips, some minor small ones on the front that are not very distracting with several larger ones on the very back, otherwise cap displays very nice.
