WW II M18 Army Single Decal "Transitional" Combat Helmet

Helmet has been brushed painted with grey green finish, looks to have several other coast of paint, finish shows field wear with some age, probably reissued in 1942 with decal added, decal is very nice and looks in the high 90%. There is a black ink swastika on the other side of the helmet this was added in wartime by German. The leather liner still has nice color, it looks sound but one of the leather fingers is broken it has 57 ink stamp on the leather. Cannot make out any shell marking due to the brush painted finish. Overall nice looking combat helmet used in some of the last days of the war. Exc. $1000.00
