Kriegsmarine White Toped Visor Hat

2nd pattern Naval Officer Visor Hat for 1933 to 1935 after that time period it was for NCO & Officer Candidates. The removable white top is made of ribbed corduroy cotton, the hat band is made of black wool, also removable, hat wreath is hand embroidered in gold bullion wire on dark blue wool with metal cockade, cockade has lost the silver finish and made of zinc, the hat eagle is made of stamped metal with gold finish, also a little tarnished. Visor is made of black fiber material with sewn black edge on front of visor, visor shows some age but in sound condition, chinstrap is pattern with two metal buckle, strap is made of black leather, side buttons age gold with anchor. The inside is lined with a white stain material with maker printed in gold on the backside of the plastic sweat diamond, made in "KIEL" also has owners name in name slot in ink on paper, Click on "Multi-View photos" for close up of maker and other photos. Hat looks to be about size 57, sweat band is made of brown colored leather, just a little lose in back, otherwise sweat band is nice. Overall nice looking hat with some light age and light wear.
