Early Reichsbahn RED TOPED Officials Visor Hat

Hat has the early stand up top made of red wool with matching red wool piping, the hat band is made of black velvet with red piping. Metal winged railway wheel has lost the gold finish over time, has political pattern metal eagle that has lost the gold finish over time. Chinstrap is made of gold bullion wire but has tarnished to almost black, the side buttons still have the gold finish, the visor is made of black fiber type material. The inside is lined with the orange brown cloth material and is marked with maker that I cannot make out but looks to be marked size 58-1/2, there is no plastic sweat diamond, does not look like it every had one. Sweat band is made of brown leather, it looks sound but does have tear in leather in front. Overall the red wool on the top has faded from sun light and there are several moth nips on the top and a few else were on the hat, still the hat has nice look.
