Schutzpolizei NCO/EM Shako

Fiber helmet with body covered with police bluish green wool with black fiber top with black front and rear visors with black leather chinstrap. Has standard silver aluminum NCO/EM eagle on front with detachable aluminum cockade, marked and dated 1938. The black fiber visors and the top on the shako shows some light wear and age, top needs some polish but still nice, the bluish green wool body shows some light wear with some moth nips on one side near rear, noticeable but not that distracting as it is near the back, would still display nice. Inside of the top of the shako has nice makers decal and marked with size 56 ½, some type of animal has eaten parts of the leather liner, missing draw string, most are for some reason, has owners name in pin and stamped with 1938 date on the backside of the leather liner. Overall would still display very nice and has some wartime wear with post war age and wear. "Consignment Item" Exc. $650.00
