Army Official (Beamte) Visor Hat

Top of hat is made of smooth grey green doe skin type wool with medium dark green wool piping, the dark green wool band is also piped with the medium dark green piping. The eagle and wreath are nice quality and made of stamped silver aluminum. The chinstrap is the standard type made of silver aluminum bullion wire and the black fiber is the standard type with brown finish on the backside. The inside has light silk rayon type material with coarse cotton lined material on inside walls. The brown leather sweat band looks in sound condition, but has what looks like some type of leather care that as been put on it and dried, should come off. The inside has plastic sweat diamond but has no maker, there is also no size marking but looks size 55/56. Overall hat has nice shape and has only one small moth nip on the band and a few moth tracks on the top, they are not very noticeable. The inside has a lot of hair oil stains, looks little dirty and the cardboard band inside the hat band is broken in some spots, still nice looking hat that was used. Very Good to low Exc. $665.00
