TROPICAL Army Pith Helmet

Early type with light tan canvas material with aluminum Army eagle shield, silver on black with red, white and black national color shield. Helmet has leather trim around edge of helmet with grey green finish, this shows some wear but in sound condition, the leather chinstrap is nice with the same grey green finish, the outside is nice but does show some light wear and age. The inside is nice with red canvas material in top of helmet, the inside rim has the same matching tan canvas material as the outside. Leather sweat band has light tan color, it shows light age and wear and is marked on the backside with maker initials with 1941 date, cannot make the initials out "MM"???, also marked with size 55.
