Luftwaffe M40 Single Decal Combat Helmet

Steel helmet with dark Luftwaffe blue grey rough finish, finish shows wear and some age and is still about 75% plus, normal type wear. Decal is nice and is about 85% plus. The leather liner is worn around top edge and missing one of the leather fingers and has no drawl string. Leather is still soft and marked with size marking, cannot make it out, leather also looks a little dry, helmet shell is marked with what looks like "hkp 62" on side with lot number on back rim, hard to make out "44??". Chinstrap is marked with "Rbnr's". Overall helmet has light surface rust inside and out, but still nice looking helmet. "Consignment Item" Exc. $ 900.00
