WW II Danish / German M1923 Practice Hand Grenade
Developed by the Danish and produced in Denmark, it was refferred to as the "Haandbombe Model 1923. After German occupation in April 1940 ordnance plants continued production using "Handgranate 342d" (offensive) and "Handgranate 343d" (defensive). The practice grenade is composed of thick steel to simulate the live weight and to make it sturdier for repeated use. Painted yellow, and marked with red ink stamp marked "AK/B 1942.
