Wood Grip is nice with no cracks, but does show some wear, has nice nickel grip eagle with nice enamel SA grip insignia. The guards are the nickel plated type and the top guard has some of the plating freckling/lifting off, but it still is bright, bottom guard shows some age marks also but still it is bright. Blade is bright with some spotting but only minor, think it will clean up some. Motto is nice and sharp with nice grey letters. Scabbard has the nickel plated fitting and on the front side they are nice and bright with only minor age and wear, the dark brown painted finish on the front side is about 98% with light age with some paint spiders. Back side has about 80% of the dark brown painted finish with most of the age near the top fitting, missing paint with light rust on the bottom part of the nickel plated fitting. Overall dagger looks very nice on the front side, should clean up some, nice looking wartime dagger with age and wear.
