WW II U.S. Army First Pattern Model 41 Field Jacket.  Light olive tan with wool flannel lining. First pattern type with laps on pockets, with quarter master tag in pocket marked size 38 and dated 1/24/41. Has two piece construction "Airborne Command" shoulder patch on left shoulder, patch is machine sewn. On tip of collar has cloth 2nd Lt. bar and crossed Infantry rifles, both are machine woven on light tan and are hand sewn to tip of collar. Jacket shows a lot of field wear, collar as worn spots and rip and bottom of jacket edge shows wear with some stain, this is all very common with the M41 field jacket, material was just to thin, still jacket looks very nice and the zipper works.
