Army M42 Single Decal Combat Helmet with Wire Dark grey green finish has light surface rust, finish looks about 75% plus with about 75% decal, helmet looks to have not been cleaned in 60 years, would look a lot better with a light coat of oil. The wire also has rust and looks like it has been there for 60 years. Liner is worn and missing the tips of two fingers, liner is still soft, has no string or chin strap. Shell is marked in the back "hkp62" about size 55. Overall has not been cleaned, just like it came back 60 years ago, shows field wear and age. Very nice looking combat helmet. $1000.00 |
