Army Cavalry Officer Visor Hat by "Erel" Made of a fine quality grey green doe skin wool with dark green band with golden yellow wool piping. Has nice quality silver alumi eagle and wreath with vented cockade, with bullion chinstrap with standard black fiber visor. Inside is lined with a light gold silk rayon material with plastic sweat diamond with maker printed in silver print under the diamond. Light cream colored leather sweat band is also marked in silver print with the Erel logo. Cap is about size 55. Inside of the cap shows only minor wear and age, inside almost looks unused. Top of cap has a lot of moth tracks, with a few minor pin holes, piping is nice with only a few minor nips. Overall cap looks very nice, front of cap is nice, only the top has most of the problems. If it was not for the moth damage this would be a $ 1500 plus cap these days, overall cap is still nice looking and would rate low Exc. $800.00. RARE |
