U.S. Army World War I 3rd Army French Made Officers Jacket
Made of a very fine quality OD wip cord wool with four patch pocket with five button front. Has hand embroidered 3rd Army shoulder patch on left shoulder, red and white cord on dark blue wool, the dark blue has some moth damage, not that distracting, but there, also on lower left cuff has one bullion wire overseas chevron. The stand up collar has screw backed officers "U.S" with Officers Ordnance Department insignia, they look matched but one is screw backed other is pin back. Inside is lined with light OD cotton material, has nice Paris tailors label. Shoulder straps have silver bullion wire 1st Lt. Bars on each. Jacket is very fine quality, shows only minor wear and age.
