U.S. Army World War I "33rd Div." Jacket, Breeches and Leggings
Jacket is made of OD wool with stand up collar with four patch pockets with five button front. Has gold hand embroiderd wire 33rd Div. patch on black wool on left shoulder with red discharge chevron and two gold overseas chevrons on left sleeve, the overseas chevron show some wear and age. Right sleeve has wool Corporal chevrons with one wound chevron on lower sleeve. Collar has enlisted collar disk, screw back pattern "U.S. & Infantry" with letter "A" below crossed rifles. Jacket is marked with maker and dated August 3, 1918. Overall jacket is very nice, does show some age and wear, the hooks in the collar are missing, belive they were rmoved wartime. Breeches are made of OD wool and are very nice with minor age and wear, they are marked with maker and dated April 10 1917, they look about size 32 x 29. The OD woolen spiral leggings are very nice. Overall jacket and breeches show age and wear, still very nice looking set. Exc + $250.00 |
