Steel Helmet
1st pattern with welded steel chinstrap loops with light OD web straps. Helmet has been repainted, wartime repaint, painted a darker OD green over the factory finish, finish is worn and missing most of the paint from the top with rust, The darker green finish has worn off in spots down to the factory finish. Has on front black sgt chevrons, they do not show up much until you are out side. Liner has also been repainted a darker OD green it is nice on the out side, the inside is very dirty, they webbing is a light OD tan, sweat band is a darker green and the leather is worn and dark from oil. Liner is made by Westinghouse. Overall helmet shows a lot of field wear and age. V.G. + $150.00
