U.S. World War II M-1 Steel Helmet with Net
2nd pattern helmet with hinged chinstrap loops with light OD web straps with brass fittings. Also rim is joined in front. Helmet has been repainted over the rough OD finish with a little darker OD finish, this was did wartime, this finish shows field wear and age, finish is still a strong 80% plus. Net is the OD green type used by the British and Canadian troops also comes with elastic helmet band. Liner has also been repainted (wartime) with a darker OD green finish, it also shows field wear and age to the finish, still very nice. Liner has light OD webbing with the brown leather chinstrap, missing the web neckband, easy to find item. Liner is made by Westinghouse. Overall helmet shows field wear with some age, still very nice looking combat helmet. Exc + $250.00
