Army Jager Signals Troops
Oberleutnant Tunic
Field tailored tunic, looks to be made of a light weight canvas material, maybe Russian shelter quarter. Has four patched pleated pockets with six button front with cuffs on sleeve. Tunic is a light grey color. Collar tabs are machine sew to collar, tabs are dark green backed and hand embroidered in silver grey cord with two light lemon yellow bars on each. Shoulder boards are the slip on type, they have light grey braid with lemon yellow underlay with gold metal numbers with one gold rank pip each, number's are for the 28th signal battalion it was with the 28th Jager Div. Breast eagle is the bevo weave silver flat wire pattern on dark green and it is machine sew. Has hand sewn bevo weave Jager sleeve badge on right sleeve. Has War Merit ribbon in 2nd button hole with loops for ribbon bar and one badge. Inside is unlined and unmarked, does have slit for edge weapon. Tunic has a repair to the sleeve near top on right sleeve, patched with the same material as the tunic, not that distracting. Overall tunic shows field wear to the tabs, boards and breast eagle, tunic material also shows field wear and age, still this is very nice looking tunic when placed on shirt form with belt.
