Visor Hat
Made of issue quality blue grey wool with dark green wool piping with black mohair wool band, with 1st pattern drop tail eagle with nice quality wreath, both made of stamped alumi. Black leather visor and chin strap with black patent finish, finish on visor shows heavy age to pattern finish, normal on this type of visor. Inside is lined with the orange brown oil cloth material. Has plastic sweat diamond with maker printed under diamond in silver print and marked size 55 1/2. The leather sweat band is in not so good condition, has had some repairs that are not all that good, but most of it is all there, marked on back side with unit markings and dated 1935. Overall outside of hat is very nice, still has nice shape and colors are still nice. This is a very rare hat, not many of these to choose from.
